New Partnerships & Expanded Vision for PhotoWalk Nepal

posted in: Announcements | 2

PhotoWalk Nepal is pleased to announce new partnerships with Nikon Nepal, Nikon School Nepal, and Wildlife Conservation Nepal (WCN). These collaborations mark an important step forward in strengthening our commitment to photography, learning, and conservation.

As part of this partnership, one photowalk every three months will be dedicated to the theme of nature and wildlife conservation. These conservation-focused photowalks will carry a clear message on environmental awareness and responsible photography, and will be sponsored by Wildlife Conservation Nepal. Through this initiative, we aim to use photography as a tool to highlight conservation issues and encourage thoughtful engagement with nature.

In addition, every issue of FRAME e-magazine will now feature at least one story related to wildlife conservation. To further strengthen this focus, a conservationist from Wildlife Conservation Nepal will join the FRAME editorial team as a volunteer member, contributing expertise and guidance to conservation related content.

We are also excited to share that Nikon Nepal and Nikon School Nepal will be part of every photo walk. Participants will have the opportunity to borrow Nikon mirrorless camera bodies and lenses free of charge for the duration of the photo walk, allowing photographers to experience a wide range of Nikon gear in real-world shooting conditions.

Photographers interested in borrowing Nikon equipment will be required to fill out an online registration form. The registration link, along with a list of available camera bodies and lenses, will be included in each photowalk announcement.

To ensure smoother coordination for gear availability and registrations, our photowalk announcements will now be published on Tuesdays instead of Thursdays.

These partnerships reflect our evolving vision to build a stronger photography community, support learning and access to equipment, and actively contribute to conservation through visual storytelling. We look forward to sharing more meaningful photo walks and stories with you in the months ahead.
