Photowalk 7-Mar-2026: Announcement

We are excited to announce our upcoming photowalk at the iconic Swayambhunath, one of Kathmandu’s most spiritually and visually captivating landmarks.

Perched atop a hill overlooking the valley, Swayambhu offers a rich blend of heritage architecture, devotional rituals, panoramic city views, prayer flags, monks, pilgrims, and everyday life unfolding in a sacred setting. From intricate details of the stupas to candid human moments and sweeping landscapes, this walk promises endless photographic opportunities.

As always, this photowalk is open to photographers of all levels, whether you are just starting out or have years of experience behind the lens. The goal is simple: to observe, connect, learn, and create together.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore composition techniques, light management in early morning conditions, storytelling through street and cultural photography, and creative framing within architectural spaces.
