This month our PhotoWalk is going to be at the ancient city of Bhaktapur on July 15th. Bhaktapur was the largest of the three Newar kingdoms of Kathmandu valley with its own unique traditions and distinctly different form of Nepal Bhasha language. It has the best preserved culture, tradition and historic monuments, and this reflects in the lifestyle of people there.
Lifestyle of Bhaktapur is going to be the theme of our photowalk this month. Participants are encouraged to take pictures on the theme along with other photos of their choice. Selected photographs on this theme, submitted by participants, will be published in the next issue of VIVID.
We meet in Bhaktapur Durbar Square at 7:15am. We will have a brief orientation on the theme and photography techniques; after which the photowalk will start.
