A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hanuman Dhoka is a place where history, architecture, culture, and everyday life come together. From intricately carved temples and palace courtyards to bustling streets and spontaneous moments of daily life, the area offers endless opportunities for observation and visual storytelling.
Whether your interest lies in street photography, documentary work, architecture, portraits, or simply exploring one of Kathmandu’s most iconic heritage sites with fellow photographers, this photowalk promises an inspiring morning of photography and learning.

Photo Review & Critique Session
Participants are invited to share up to three photographs for constructive feedback and discussion. The submitted photographs may be images captured during the photowalk itself or photographs from their previous work.
The goal of the critique session is to create a supportive environment where photographers can learn from one another through discussion of composition, storytelling, technical execution, editing choices, and creative intent. Whether you are a beginner seeking guidance or an experienced photographer looking for fresh perspectives, the session is designed to encourage growth through thoughtful and respectful feedback.
Photographs can be submitted during the discussion session following the photowalk.
Discussion Session Agenda
1. Photowalk Reflections
Share experiences from the morning walk and discuss photographic approaches, observations, and storytelling.
2. Gear Experience Sharing
Participants who borrowed Nikon mirrorless camera systems are invited to share their experiences, favourite features, and feedback.
3. Photo Review & Critique Session
Participants may submit up to three photographs for constructive feedback and discussion. Images may be from the current photowalk or previous work.
4. Community Updates
Announcements, upcoming activities, and networking with fellow photographers.
